Black Hat Band

The BLACK HAT BAND is a collaboration between David Grey and Derek Lark.

David plays electric guitar and is the main vocalist whilst Derek plays amplified harmonica and does backing vocals.

We do a wide variety of blues, rock, soul and funk tunes by artists such as Gary Moore, Pinetop Perkins, John Mayall, Charlie Musselwhite and Jimmy Witherspoon to name a few.

When we need extra players we call on local musicians to add bass and drums and other instruments to the band.

Our current line up imcludes Tom Fel on sax, Jon Nourse on percussion and Peter Barta on bass.
